Drifting Fermentation is a tier 3 active ability in the Necroa Virus DLC. It causes controlled decomposition to occur that makes zombies able to float on water, making them more able to infect new countries, especially island countries that may have attempted to shut out your disease. This can be considered the Necroa Virus counterpart of Seafaring from the Simian Flu DLC.
